Whoa hello. Tis been a while.
I'm hardly on here except to comment - I haven't even followed my Friends list in a while. Sorry guys.
I do have quite a few more people who've found me online and are on LJ so I'll add you at least. I wish Newsgator/Feeddemon allowed me to add friends-only LJs to my feeds somehow.
Otherwise find me at TiaraShafiq.com or The Merch Girl.

I saw you post in Metaquotes, and I think I've seen you comment somewhere else too. Mmm. Anyway, you sound dreadfully interesting, and would you mind so very much adding me? Ta.
Oh, and a little bit about moi? I'm a seventeen year old music student from Australia. I play flute, read a lot, a lot, and am also slightly obsessed with history. I've been exploring a spiritual path that sounds rather similar to yours, so no, that doesn't freak me out.

Date: 2005-01-31 08:00 am (UTC)Oddly, one of my favorite beers in the world was brewed in Malaysia (ABC Stout). Realize that probably bans me for life, but we do have a few interests in common otherwise. Is it OK if I add you?

Date: 2005-01-31 08:12 am (UTC)I haven't heard of those anthologies, except for the Russel Lim True Singapore Ghost Stories stuff. They all sound the same after a while.
I'm not very into the alcohol scene, but hey you remind me of a friend of mine. Sure, add me :)

Date: 2005-02-27 12:23 pm (UTC)Hello There!
Date: 2005-03-09 11:56 am (UTC)Currently I am 19, badly need a job and to figure out where I would to go to college. I was raised in California but moved to Oregon when my family decided to be near more family. I am thinking about college in Illinois, but that is mainly because of a friend i claim to be my little sister and the fact that I prefer big cities compared to drab little places where you have to drive 45 mins in case of a book emergency. My current religious beliefs are unknown, while my parents tried to raise me as a good little christian my friends know I am anything but. My current interests are Harry Potter fanfics, programming, web design (I like the design of your journal btw), graphic design, movie editing, sound manipulation, and other various technical things. While I am an expert at none of this, I know enough to get by (with the exception of programming which I know very little and have no reason to learn unless I have a project set before me, which is why I would like to take classes on the subject). I am also interested in various music and languages. I know a little piano, but would also like to learn the flute aswell as the bass. As far as languages go, I know a little english (even though it is the language on which I was born and raised on, living in the USA) and I would love to learn more french (I took a High School class for 1 year before I moved and attended a school which didn't offer french) Japanese, German, Latin, and probably Mandarin(but I am also considering a few languages besides Mandarin that I might want to learn). I also enjoy watching Anime. When we have the ingredients I also love to bake some bread, or pizza, cake and brownies(which I think I shall make tomorrow) are never out of the question either. Like you I also keep most of my entries Friends only, but feel free to browse them before you decide if I am worthy or not to be added. I can also add you to my Buddy list on AIM if you feel comfortable enough. As it is about 4 in the morning I should probably retire, and by retire I just mean get ready for bed and read a few chapters of an outrageously long, but satisfying, book by Terry Goodkind. ^_^
Re: Hello There!
Date: 2005-03-09 12:10 pm (UTC)thanks for the introduction! We seem to have a bit in common. I've kinda lapsed from programming though; I have ideas, I just have no idea how to implement them. ARGH.
adding you! :D

Mercury Retrogade is when Mercury seems to be going backwards in orbit. During that time communications - and anything else associated with Mercury - go haywire. It's a trying time for a lot of people, especially me.
