Whoa hello. Tis been a while.

I'm hardly on here except to comment - I haven't even followed my Friends list in a while. Sorry guys.

I do have quite a few more people who've found me online and are on LJ so I'll add you at least. I wish Newsgator/Feeddemon allowed me to add friends-only LJs to my feeds somehow.

this is sidney was just reading ur post up at malaysians, i feel for you and i worked for some telemarketing company and numbers are drawn up randomly, so its definitely not from maxis, i quited the job after 4 days, its like messing up with people's minds to buy something they dont need and i just didnt feel comfortable promoting something i dont believe in,

I saw a metaquotes that came from your journal about Malaysian/Singaporean Literature. I've been to Singapore on 2 seperate occasions, and have been in most coastal countries in Asia at one point or another. Almost bought a horror anthology published in Singapore, but figured between my final choices while there, one with 2 stories about Outraged Modesty probably wouldn'te be the most effective choice. Then again, I had a hard time getting into "Turn of the Screw" as it's based on the horror of 2 children being influenceed by Victorian degenerates who aren't in line with the social order, whereas I myself am a pervert and find it hard to be worked up about this. Not a pedophile or anything like that, just aware that my sexual preference is well outside that of Christian or Muslim fundamentalists.

Oddly, one of my favorite beers in the world was brewed in Malaysia (ABC Stout). Realize that probably bans me for life, but we do have a few interests in common otherwise. Is it OK if I add you?

I was intrigued when I saw your rant about the Pop Quiz. I have already added you as a buddy, but you don't have to if you would feel uncomfortable.

Currently I am 19, badly need a job and to figure out where I would to go to college. I was raised in California but moved to Oregon when my family decided to be near more family. I am thinking about college in Illinois, but that is mainly because of a friend i claim to be my little sister and the fact that I prefer big cities compared to drab little places where you have to drive 45 mins in case of a book emergency. My current religious beliefs are unknown, while my parents tried to raise me as a good little christian my friends know I am anything but. My current interests are Harry Potter fanfics, programming, web design (I like the design of your journal btw), graphic design, movie editing, sound manipulation, and other various technical things. While I am an expert at none of this, I know enough to get by (with the exception of programming which I know very little and have no reason to learn unless I have a project set before me, which is why I would like to take classes on the subject). I am also interested in various music and languages. I know a little piano, but would also like to learn the flute aswell as the bass. As far as languages go, I know a little english (even though it is the language on which I was born and raised on, living in the USA) and I would love to learn more french (I took a High School class for 1 year before I moved and attended a school which didn't offer french) Japanese, German, Latin, and probably Mandarin(but I am also considering a few languages besides Mandarin that I might want to learn). I also enjoy watching Anime. When we have the ingredients I also love to bake some bread, or pizza, cake and brownies(which I think I shall make tomorrow) are never out of the question either. Like you I also keep most of my entries Friends only, but feel free to browse them before you decide if I am worthy or not to be added. I can also add you to my Buddy list on AIM if you feel comfortable enough. As it is about 4 in the morning I should probably retire, and by retire I just mean get ready for bed and read a few chapters of an outrageously long, but satisfying, book by Terry Goodkind. ^_^
